When life becomes…

  • Nov. 11th, 2008 at 1:06 PM

… to much to handle, sometimes you just need to take a step back and look at the “BIG” picture. We are always faced with making decisions and sometimes we don’t always thing about the consequences. It can become very frustrating and overwhelming to say the least. The road that we call life can present us with a variety of directions that we can take, and regardless of which road we take, we just have to make the best situation of the road we decided to go down, no matter how hard that road might be to travel

Scattered!

  • Oct. 26th, 2008 at 10:30 PM

I'm totally scattered at the moment. There is so much that I need to do that I just don't feel like I have enough hours in my day.

Getting Organized?

  • Oct. 22nd, 2008 at 11:02 AM

Good Morning! Time to get up and started for the day. Like usual there is a lot to do with only a limited amount of time. I am hoping to organize myself a little better. In the process of setting up my schedule on-line. Go GOOGLE calendar. What would I do with out the internet?

Something sleepy

  • Oct. 22nd, 2008 at 2:23 AM

Something sleepy this way comes. Another day draws to a close and I feel like I have done a lot but at the same time done absolutely nothing at all. Perhaps keeping a working journal of things I need to do, would like to do and what I have done is a good idea.

How time flies!

  • Sep. 29th, 2008 at 2:50 PM

Drew turned three years old last week and I must say that I really do miss the time when he was just a baby. Time seems to fly when you aren't paying attention. Both of my boys are getting big faster then I can blink it seems. I don't know if it means that they are getting older or if it means that I am . . .LOL. Anyhoo, looking back, I can only hope they have many good and happy memories of their childhood. I know I will.

Wrapping Up Week 3

  • Sep. 5th, 2008 at 6:51 PM

I am now finishing up my third week at MTI College a Paul Mitchell partner school and I must say the weeks have really seemed to just fly by. It by no means is a joke, getting your cosmetology license, LOL, the last 3 weeks have been totally intense. It is non-stop learning and I'm not talking just about book work. Sometimes I tell myself that I shouldn't have waited so long to go after this dream of my mine, that I shouldn't have let people talk me out of what I really wanted to do in the first place, but then I think, if I didn't wait, would I be having as much fun as I am having now? The school itself is great and full of energy. The people are great to which makes it a lot easier to go and keep going to class.

Anyhoo, I will be finishing up my core classes within the next 3 weeks and then will actually be out on the "floor" cutting people's hair, coloring, perming...whatever I can get my hands on to do!!

Crystal Echoes - FanFiction.Net

  • Aug. 11th, 2008 at 2:33 PM

I have enjoyed reading Crystal Echoes fanfiction and am sad that some of her original writings have been lost. However, I am happy to know that she is writing once more and I have come across her work once more. If you like reading fan fiction, and enjoyed the manga and anime Inuyasha you may also enjoy Crystal's stories. Happy reading.

Here is a link to one of her stories on FanFiction.net:

Going Green . . . .

  • Aug. 7th, 2008 at 9:09 AM

Going green... I have decided to give going green a shot. It is going to take some effort on my part just considering how I was brought up and the lifestyle I am used to living. But I can't help but feel disgusted with how we are treating out environment. For a race that is suppose to be technically advanced, it's disheartening to know that with these advances we are also destroying the earth.

Check out the following website (you can also subscribe to the podcast's if you have iTunes) and take a look around. http://greenlivingideas.com/ This site offers some great information on "Going Green."

Every little bit counts ...

Busy Bee . . . and MakeUp

  • Aug. 1st, 2008 at 11:55 PM

I have been busy these last few weeks, setting up a lot of different things. Trying to take control of the situation that I call my life. LOL. Things seem to have been picking up, but not as much as I would like them to though so I'm kind of disappointed. I suppose the road ahead of me is going to be a long one ... at least on the business side of things. The one thing that I did find though is some makeup. Silly as it sounds, I thought I would treat myself to some new makeup and came across a line called Mineral Girlz. Sounds a bit cliche I think but I thought I would give it a whirl since I have been having issues with my skin lately. And until I can get my skin under control, I need something that is NOT going to clog up my pores and make me break out excessively. Adult acne is the worst... I feel like I'm in high school all over again. :(

Anyhoo, feel free to check it out.

Officially Launching ???

  • Jul. 14th, 2008 at 5:38 PM

Well after much pushing from my husband, I finally am getting off my butt and getting down to Business wit Express Professional Services. I have been speaking about it for the last 2 years but nothing has ever come to fruition with it. Mainly because I guess I was afraid to start something again and have it not live up to my expectations. It's really quite frustrating when you don't know what is going to happen and yes I do know that you can't predict the future. It's just sometimes it would be nice to have something go right, you know from start to finish?

Guess I better head back to marketing ... This business of mine isn't going to get any clients on it's own.

Cafe Bernardo

  • Jul. 10th, 2008 at 2:23 PM

I was first introduced to Cafe Bernardo when I was still working in Roseville about one year ago. I really enjoyed the lunch that I ordered but like much everything else, times changed and the Cafe Bernardo in Roseville closed it doors. Well, not to long ago, I had lunch with a friend and she suggested we go to Cafe Bernardo in Sacramento. I thought to myself, hey! I remember this place. . . or at least the one in Roseville. Anyhoo I was happy to see that they had my favorite on the menu still, a oh so yummy and very filling Thai Noodle salad. If you haven't tired it, I would highly recommend it. There are some other great item's on the menu but I really enjoy the Thai Noodle. LOL. So if you are ever in Down town Sacramento, try and swing by Cafe Bernardo and enjoy some simple but delicious food.

Visit Cafe Bernardo on -line! Did I forget to mention that the cost to eat there is minimal compared to the quality of the food you get? Just my two cents.
